CMA Final Registration 2025

: Comprehensive Study Guide for June and December Tests
CMA Final Registration 2025 is the final and most important step for students who want to become Cost and Management Accountants in order to obtain the coveted CMA designation. A seamless registration and preparation process is ensured by being aware of deadlines, eligibility, fees, syllabus, and the exam pattern, regardless of whether you intend to take the exam in June or December.

Important Dates and Exam Cycles
The CMA Final Exams are held twice a year by the Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI). The deadline for CMA Final Registration 2025 is January 31, 2025, for applicants aiming to sit for the June 2025 exams. In the meantime, July 31, 2025, is the deadline for CMA Final Registration for December 2025. Registering as soon as possible is essential because failing to do so could cause your attempt to be delayed by six months. You can avoid last-minute problems and have enough time for organised preparation by registering early.

Qualifications

Only after passing both groups of the CMA Intermediate exam can you sign up for the final level. Completing the required training and having a current CMA registration number are prerequisites. Crucially, there is no upper age restriction. It should be noted, though, that candidates who pass the June CMA Intermediate exam are not eligible to take the December Final exam that year. Application errors can be avoided by confirming all eligibility requirements on ICMAI's official portal prior to applying.

Payment and Registration Fees
The ₹25,000 CMA Final Registration 2025 fee can be paid in full or in two installments of ₹15,000 and ₹10,000. For both oral and postal coaching modes, the cost is the same. The ICMAI student portal accepts online payments, which streamlines the procedure. Keep in mind that the exam form fee, which needs to be turned in closer to the exam date, is separate from this registration fee.

Documents Needed

Before beginning the registration process, applicants must have the following documents ready in the appropriate formats:

  • Both groups' CMA Intermediate mark sheets are available in PDF format (≤300 KB).
  • Proof of age: PDF (≤300 KB)
  • A recent JPG or JPEG passport-sized photo (≤200 KB)
  • JPG/JPEG specimen signature (≤100 KB)
  • Your application will be approved more quickly if you upload files that are error-free and the right size.

How to Finish the 2025 CMA Final Registration

To successfully register, take these actions:

  • Go to the official student portal of ICMAI.
  • Click "Apply" after selecting the "CMA Final" option.
  • Enter your login information and CAPTCHA verification.
  • Provide accurate personal, academic, and contact information.
  • Upload the necessary files in the designated formats.
  • After paying the registration fees, save the payment receipt for your records.

You must submit a request to proceed if the form is still unfinished after 30 days. As a result, finishing it quickly avoids needless delays.

Pattern of the CMA Final Exam

Eight papers total, split into two groups, make up the CMA Final:

  • Group 3: Direct Tax Laws & International Taxation, Strategic Financial Management, Corporate and Economic Laws, and Strategic Cost Management.
  • Group 4: Indirect Tax Laws & Practice, Cost and Management Audit, Corporate Financial Reporting, and one elective paper (pick from Risk Management in Banking & Insurance, Entrepreneurship and Startup, or Strategic Performance Management).

Each three-hour paper has both objective and descriptive questions, and it is worth 100 points. To be eligible, candidates must receive at least 40% on each paper and a group score of 50%.

Form and Fees for the CMA Final Exam

You must turn in the exam form after registering in order to attend the session of your choice. The costs are:

  • One group: $100 overseas and ₹1,400 in India
  • For both groups: ₹2,800 in India and $100 overseas
  • The late fee is ₹300 in India and $10 overseas.

Your exam seat is guaranteed if you correctly complete the form and make your payment by the due date.
