Registration for CMA Intermediate 2025 Qualifications

  • completed either CAT Level 1 (Entry Level-Part I) or the CMA Foundation course.
  • finished the fourth semester or second year of an engineering program or recognized degree (provisional registration available).
  • passed the CS Foundation or CA IPCC Intermediate exam (note: CSEET is invalid).
  • obtained doctoral or postgraduate degrees from accredited universities.
  • passed the CA, CIMA, ACCA, or ICSI final exams.
  • qualified by passing the CAIIB Parts I and II or Subordinate Accounts Service exams.
  • passed additional tests authorized by the council.
  • Candidates can proceed with registration without any problems if these requirements are met.

Fees for CMA Intermediate Registration


The registration fee, which can be paid in full or in two installments, is ₹23,100 for both oral and postal methods.

₹11,100 for the second installment

Required Documents


Before beginning your CMA Intermediate Registration 2025, get the following paperwork ready:

  • attested certificates of matriculation and 10+2.
  • certificate of degree (if applicable).
  • Three passport-sized pictures for the records, ID card, and form.
  • attestation by qualified experts, such as college principals, MPs, gazetted officers, or members of ICMAI, ICAI, or ICSI.
  • Delays in registration can be avoided by having these available.

Exam Pattern for CMA Intermediate in 2025 Sessions

Eight papers total, split into two groups, make up the exam:

Group 1 includes cost accounting, direct and indirect taxes, financial accounting, and business laws and ethics.

Group 2: Financial Management & Business Data Analytics, Corporate Accounting & Auditing, Operations & Strategic Management, and Management Accounting.

Important information:

  • Each paper takes three hours to complete.
  • Each paper receives 100 marks.
  • Passing requirements: 50% overall for each group and at least 40% in each paper.
  • A combination of descriptive and objective questions make up the question format.

Exam Form and Charges


Applicants may choose to participate in one or both groups. Exam costs are:

  • One group: ₹1,500 in India, $90 overseas.
  • Both groups: $90 overseas, ₹2,800 in India.
  • The late fee is ₹500 in India and $10 overseas.
  • Online applications can be made at examicmai.in.

Validity of Registration and the De Novo Option


CMA Intermediate Registration 2025 is good for seven years after it is finished. Candidates must reapply through "De Novo Registration" and pay ₹5,000 if they are unable to finish their exams within this time frame. A second De Novo may be applied for by students who have passed one group or obtained two subject exemptions.
